81st Fitchburg REgional Show by leslie graff

Some fantastic work this year at the Fitchburg Regional at the Fitchburg Art Museum. I was honored to have "her piece of the pie" and "how it looked in the reflection" chosen for the show. It's a treat to share the walls with so many other excellent works.

PAINTINGS FOR BYU's School of Family Life by leslie graff

So pleased to have two of my pieces on permanent display at BYU. I helped the department acquisition an art package focusing on the themes of the majors in the department.  So wonderful to see original art by a range of contemporary artists on the walls. If you are on campus you can visit them on the second floor of the JFSB. I would never create the art I do were it not for the things I learned and they ways I learned to think while in graduate school there so many thanks to my beloved professors who had an indirect hand in creating these pieces.

Just Desserts by leslie graff

Well to know me is to know how i love to bake. I have had the best time lately baking, photoshooting, and painting these desserts (ok and i love eating them to.) I cant get enough of painting these patterns. And as a little sneak preview of whats to come -- I will be doing a solo exhibit with them for four months at the Hanover Theater in Worcester next March. The best part is I will be making some of the desserts for people to sample at the opening.

What in the world... by leslie graff

As anyone who knows me well knows I am always coming out with something new, it is the best thing about being an artist. I have always loved space. Maybe it was watching too much Star Wars and Star Trek growing up... (okay i still watch them now) but I love the imagery of space. It is calming and stilling while being vast and exciting. So over the holidays I finally got to work on an idea that I had been playing with for a while. The next thing I knew i was making my own worlds-- So here is a peek at my latest creative obsession.
