My abstract series focuses on moments of exchange and meaning. Nothing holds my mind like ideas. The rich flavor of daily life is found in reading, listening, viewing, studying, and exchange. I use geometric structures as visual presentations of thought and ideas, frequently depicting intersections of transference and communication and congregation. This series is defined by bright color, pairing the influence of patterning in art deco and art nouveau with more abstract expressionism drawing inspiration from the works of Hans Hoffman.
